New cloud-based construction project management application to make debut in early 2014

With the construction industry beginning to bounce back from the recession, builders are looking at ways to increase efficiency. Many are finding the solution in new technologies. Mantra, a custom software development company in New Jersey announces that it will be releasing a cloud-based construction project management application in early 2014. This new application is designed to help builders manage their construction projects more efficiently and effectively.
The new application will come packed with features like project management, task management, issue tracking, work assignment, and document sharing. It will be a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) application that will allow construction companies to sign up on their own and manage their construction projects for a small monthly fee. Application can be used on computers, iPad, and Android tablets. A mobile phone version for iPhone and Android smart phones is already in development.

New construction has been on the rise over the past few years. Construction companies are embracing new technologies to increase their productivity and decrease costly delays. In construction, even minor delays can have enormous consequences. In the US alone these delays cost companies billions of dollars a year. New construction project management application from Mantra will help site managers and construction supervisors easily stay on task and find issues before they turn into major problems. According to the construction industry magazine, Construction Executive, research has uncovered that utilization of construction management software saves an average of 9.1 hours per week, per user. For an average construction company with 1000 users, that equates to over $12 Million in savings each year!
