The one thing that is likely to cause a project to go off course is a project risk that comes to pass.
As a project manager or team member it is very easy to reduce the chances of this happening.
This is achieved by answering three questions about the risk as early as you can. Once theses questions have been answered your risk will have a score. The score will tell you how serious your risk is.
The next step to to mitigate your risk by reducing the impact that the risk would have. Then reduce the chance of the risk happening.
